Customer Reviews about Magnolia Veterinary Hospital
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Hi! I am a veterinarian from the FDA in Maryland. I was camping near Anderson, SC, when my standard poodle exhibited signs of bloat/GDV. He could not settle in for bed, and then jumped off the bed and was trying to vomit, but nothing came out. He was trying to vomit so hard, he defecated on himself.( I am adding these details, as with bloat/GDV, if you wait to take your pet to the vet, your beloved pet may not survive.) I immediately located the nearest veterinary emergency center to the campground, and called at about 1:30 am. The staff at Magnolia were very attentive and polite, provided me with directions, and were waiting for me when I arrived. The DVM, Dr. Lambert, actually called me during my dog's surgery in the middle of the night ( 2 am), AND after his surgery at about 4 am, and in the days after the surgery. The clinic accomodated my daily visits with my pet, even though I could not always arrive during their preferred visiting hours. The pain management protocol they used for my pet was excellent. I want to thank Dr. Lambert and the staff at Magnolia for helping Sonic through his serious emergency. And Dr. Lambert, Sonic pooped out the paper towels, and also vomited a sock! He is back to his normal self!!!September 30, 2017by Karla Antonio
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪NEVER bring your beloved animal here. All they care about is money. They expect you to have all the money upfront before any treatment and if you don’t, they turn you away. Even with a sick or injured animal. My families puppy had parvo and needed emergency help right away and because we didn’t have the deposit money right then, upfront, they turned us away and would not help. A poor sick, helpless puppy..they turned away. So sickening and so devastating. They don’t care about the animals, they just want the money.February 16, 2017by Bethany Hughey
